Eco Center in collaboration with Moldova Fruit Association and FreshTime held a valuable seminar for farmers, with the following topic:
Pest control in orchards - PHEROMONE SOLUTIONS.
The event brought together over 30 farmers from the Republic of Moldova, and in its context, the representatives from Eco Center, presented products, methods of monitoring and control of pest insects in fruit crops with pheromone products. Also, during the seminar, the Executive Director of the Moldova Fruit Association - Iurie Fala, presented the main objectives of the Marketing Strategy and promotion of the fruit sector for the years 2023-2025.
Natalia Raileanu, doctor of biological sciences from the Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, provided important information to the seminar attendees about the use of entomophages in the integrated pest management systems. In the context of the addressed topics, representatives from Eco Center, Moldova Fruit Association, IGPPP and Fresh Time, concluded that such meetings help us in creating a fruitful cooperation towards a more environmentally friendly agriculture in our country!
