Short pest overview:

It is a species of snout moth in the genus Euzophera. The larvae have been recorded feeding on the wood of quince, apple, pear, plum, apricot and cherry and the fruits of quince, apple, pear, walnut and pomegranate.

Geographic Distribution:

This moth has a widespread distribution. It is found in most of Europe, Asia and North Africa.

Life Cycle:

Larvae feed inside several different species of fruit. There are multiple generations in the year (up to 3-4), summer generations will also pupate inside the fruit. Adults generally emerge in April.
